Essential Criteria:

Will be able to work approximately 15 hours per week, spread across multiple days. 

Job Description:

  • You will be working side by side Anna to assist running the business. 
  • You will be making decisions and acting in the business's best interests at all times when Anna is unavailable. 
  • You will be scheduling Academy classes & Parties and rostering staff for them. 
  • You will be working with partners such as Classbento and Red Balloon to ensure our Academy is well presented with current information at all times.
  • You will be managing bookings for children's parties, sending invoices and coordinating staff for them.
  • You will be using a CRM platform to keep track of party bookings
  • You will be handling customer enquiries related to Academy classes and parties, and any other areas of the business that are required.
  • You will be producing quotes and invoices for private class bookings and custom cake orders.
  • You will be helping manage stock at both venues.
  • You will be creating and sending weekly eDMs to our customer database.
  • You will be assisting with recruitment, onboarding and training of new staff
  • You will be updating business operational documents such as Terms and Conditions as required.
  • You will be making timely seasonal adjustments to our product portfolio and updating the website accordingly
  • You will be involved in aspects of our social media

Details:

- Casual contract

- Available to work 2-3 days per week (possible opportunity to expand to more days for the right candidate)

- Daily hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm in Mosman (2088)

Job Role:

-Serve customers and manage orders

-Regularly create content for social media including Instagram & Facebook

-Ensure that the store is of impeccable standard at all times

-Manage customer enquiries over the phone, email and in person

There is room for growth in other areas of the business for the right candidate. This may include delivering our Academy Masterclasses or hosting Kids Birthday Parties.

Do you love cakes? Do you have experience teaching others? Are you looking for a fun and creative job?

We are looking for a vibrant and fun individual who will lead our Cupcake Decorating Masterclasses.

This is a very hands-on part time role and an exciting opportunity for the right person. An ideal candidate would be someone who has other part-time or casual employment and wants an additional source of income at weekends and some weekday evenings.

The position involves:

* Hosting Cupcake decorating classes in our brand new dedicated Baking Academy (Mosman, 2088) most weekends.

Training will be provided.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualities:

* Passion for cake is a must!

* Be available most weekend afternoons

* Speak fluent English

* Be an excellent communicator

* Work well on their own and as part of a dynamic team

We work together with Le Cordon Bleu culinary school to provide placements for the ongoing volunteer program. This is a 10 week commitment and all applications must be made through the LCB Career Advisors on campus.

Job Role:

You will work alongside our Head Chef and team to produce products daily. You will learn the details of running BOH and a kitchen. You will get involved in most areas of production

Personal Attributes:

You must be impeccably presented with adequate communication skills.

You are reliable, kind, friendly and pride yourself on achieving great results.

You should have the appropriate Food Safety and Hygiene standards certification.

You will have good spoken and written English

Details:

Minimum one day per week commitment. Can be reduced to 5 weeks, working two days per week. Must apply through LCB and not directly to The CCC unless you wish to do additional volunteer work. There is no guarantee of employment following your placement
